Cleanse Your Body With Lemon Water

Lemon water is a rich source of nutrients and provides healthy and glowing skin, clear metabolism. It has various benefits such as excellent skincare remedies, curing throat infections, keeps your teeth and mouth clean, helps with weight loss, controls high blood pressure, cures respiratory disorders, reduces fever and many more.

Having an alkaline body is very important when it comes to good health. If your body is too acidic it can cause many health issues down the track.

What? But lemon juice is acidic, you say. Well, not to worry, because once lemon juice enters your body it becomes alkaline and can protect your cells from damage. Cleansing the body with lemons or limes is another benefit of lemon water as it is 100% safe and gentle to the body.

I drink lemon water first thing in the morning after I wake up and it has worked wonders for me. I also drink it during the day to keep me detoxified.

What to do:
  1. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into a tea cup or a mug.
  2. Dilute it with warm water
  3. Drink up!
Cheers!

    1. Hi, Lil.
Yes you can mix with honey but it is best done as part of a weight loss programme.
If you.re not looking to lose weight, then I will advise to stick to lemon water or lemon juice with herbal tea as my good friend Zinnia suggested below.
Thank you so much for visiting. I'm glad you like it.

    1. Hi, Trish...can I call you Trish? :)

      Try the following:

      1. Apply pure shea butter on the area. This works best when you've just had your bath or when your body is slightly moist.
      2. Pure vitamin E oil. I buy the capsules and break them open to pour out the oil inside.
      3. Drink plenty of water as well as the lemon water.

These things take quite some time to work. Therefore, be patient and consistent and you will see some improvements.

Please don't be embarrassed by stretchmarks. You are beautiful no matter what anyone says.
      Good Luck!

  6. Zinnia:
Neni, have you tried it with tea made from tea bag? Wonderful combination for the body; it helps to maintain blood sugar level.

    1. Hi, glycerine is a tricky one to use on the skin. Yes, you can use it but go easy on it because too much of glycerine dries out your skin and the results are not pretty.
      Good Luck!

    1. Hi, Annisabel.
This is quite difficult for me to answer because I need to carry out a facial consultation on you. But I will try my best to give you a lucid answer.

Your recurring pimples could be caused by two main things:
Sugar: Sugary food and drinks, Alcohol
Skin: What kind of soap/cleanser and cream do you use on your face?

I used to have the same problem but mine was caused by certain foods in my diet.

      Expecting to hear from you.

    1. Limes are very common and can be found almost in every market. They are small and are the size of a table tennis ball.
Lemons are bigger than limes. They are yellowish in colour. There are 2 types: the ones with rough skin and the ones with smooth skin. They are a little bigger than limes and are a little more difficult to find but if you know where to look, you will find them.

      Hope this helps!

You can buy lemon in the market. You can ask people that sell salad items. I buy from Ikeja or Ogba markets.

    1. Hi, Anon.
What you do is simply dab lime or lemon juice on your on the affected areas 2-3 times a day.
Try to avoid sunlight as much as possible during this period.

      Good Luck!
