Make Your Skin Glow With Tomatoes and Turmeric!

Yep. That's right. Tomatoes and turmeric. This mask is fantastic for problematic skin. It got my skin under control, it was unbelievable.

BE WARNED: Turmeric stains like no man's business, so please use metal utensils where applicable.

Directions
·         Make a thick paste by mixing tomato juice with some turmeric powder.

·          Apply on face. Leave on for 20 minutes.

·         Wash off with lukewarm water.

This is one of the best facial masks for those who need to see some effective and instant results.

Good luck!

    3. Either of them will do. Some of those women adulterate the shea butter while other women sell it pure.
The same thing with the packaged shea butter. So, it's really up to you to decide.

    6. Sorry, I don't know what it's called in Efik or Ibibio. I don't even know what it's called in my own language sef!
But I know it's called red ginger in English here in Nigeria.

    7. To identify pure shea butter, just smell it. The smell is very distinct. It's a little offensive (to some people) but it disappears almost immediately it is applied on the skin.

    8. Neni pls while rubing powder, using d hand or foam, which one is more preferable. And pls what is sandal wood and fuller's earth. Txz

    9. I suggest you apply with cosmetic sponge. Buy a lot of it so that you can wash them regularly. They're quite cheap. I usually buy mine from those makeup sellers at Oke Arin Market on Lagos Island in bulk. I bought the last one at 3 for N100. It's been a while though.
Sandal wood is called Osun on Yoruba. It's popularly called camwood in Nigeria.
I don't.know what Fuller's earth is called. But local clay is a good substitute.

I recommend either of these two:
Vaseline petroleum jelly cream deep moisture or Palmer's Cocoa Butter Hand Cream.
They never fail to rescue my hands!

    1. Hi!
Ensure you're using a mild soap like Delta or Lux soap.
Every night before going to bed, apply lime or lemon juice on those areas. Allow it to dry. Go to bed without washing it off. In the morning, wash off with water.

      Do this every other day.

    1. When turmeric is in it's raw form, it looks like ginger hence the name red ginger. It's usually sold by all those women sell ingredients for herbs.

But if you want turmeric powder, it's usually packaged. I suggest you try a major supermarket. Try maybe Amigos, I'm sure they'll have.
